ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 - SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991 WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH BRIDGEMAN STREET, WALSALL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2012 Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle proceeding in that length of Bridgeman Street, Walsall that is situated from its junction with Station Street to its junction with Bradford Place. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via Queen Street, Corporation Street West, Wednesbury Road and Bradford Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on Saturday 25 February 2012 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months, or until the work is completed, whichever is the earlier. The work is expected to take 2 nights to complete. The road closures will come into operation at 2300 (11.00pm) on the Saturday nights of 25 February 2012 and 3 March 2012 and will, on each occasion be removed by 0900 (9.00am) the following morning. The closure is appropriate to allow bridge inspections to be undertaken in a safe manner.
